Q: What's this website all about??

This site strives to entertain fans of OMQ with classic comic strips. Think of it as like a database for the strips that you grew up with, back in the day when your parents would pick up one up for you at the Chinese market, or reading at the the barber shop when you were getting your bowl cut. OMQ comics brought tons of laughter and entertainment, and we would like to continue the entertainment online.

We are an approved, independently run, affiliate of OMQ ZMedia Ltd. Therefore we have full licensing rights to display comics on this site, so please do not use any of the comics and images here for profit purposes.

Unfortunately we might not have all the information you seek about OMQ, so be sure to contact OMQ ZMedia to find the answers to your inquiries.

Q: Can I get Mr. Wong's autograph, or do an interview with him?

Unfortunately we're not privvy to information about Mr. Wong's whereabouts. We are told that Mr. Wong is a very private man, and would like to enjoy the rest of his retirement fishing and creating pottery.

Q: Where can I buy OMQ books?

We have no idea where to buy OMQ books. You may be able to find some in San Francisco, or in Los Angeles at NgHingKee stores, but beyond California, it's tough.

Once we get the logistics figured out, we hope to sell OMQ books online in the near future.

In the meantime the main licensing folks in Taiwan at OMQ ZMedia Ltd probably have a better idea, so give them a long-distance call for the most reliable contact method.

Q: Who made this site?

oldmasterq.com and omqshop.com were created by studioGIN, as one of the constantly-evolving websites in Ginger Wong's portfolio. Ginger often loses a lot of sleep maintaining this website, but it has definitely been a fun project for her. (By the way, it's 3am as this sentence is being typed.)
